Court orders for the arrest of Nkaissery after he made this mistake

Nkaissery and the officials are accused of blowing up a yacht that had transported heroin worth KSh 20 million.

According to the court, the yacht was a crucial exhibit and the CS destroyed it without court orders.

The yacht named MV Baby Iris was blown up by the Kenya Navy in August 2015.

The magistrate said the actions by the CS was contempt of court and disrespect to the institution.

“This is a serious case and the ship was an exhibit that was in the custody of the court but it was blown up,” he said.
