
Opposition leaders who decamped to the
 Jubilee Party are finding the terrain murkier and are said to be trying
 to reach out to their party leaders for a possible re-union. 
The leaders, mostly drawn from 
the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), have made overtures to Raila 
Odinga through proxies in a bid to convince him to allow them back to 
the party. 
One of the most affected leaders is the former powerful ODM secretary and Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba. 
A close associate of the MP said that Ababu was going nuts with the August 8th polls beckoning. 
“Ababu is unwanted and it will 
take a miracle for him to be re-elected. He now knows that he made a big
 mistake ditching ODM”, said the source who requested anonymity. 
Although he is showing bravado in public, Ababu is said to be extremely irritable and worried about his political future. 
His efforts to reach out to 
Raila, a man he calls his political mentor, have been thwarted by the 
former Prime Minister close allies.
