A National Super Alliance (NASA) politician has reportedly gone into a coma following a nasty road accident that left two other people dead.
Kanyamwa Kosewe MCA Lenox Ochieng’ is said to have suffered serious injuries after the car he was driving lost control and landed in a sugar plantation in Ndhiwa, Homa Bay County.
According to witnesses, the vehicle which was carrying seven passengers was over speeding before rolling and landing in the plantation.
Two of the passengers in the vehicle, unfortunately, lost their lives while four others sustained head, leg and hand injuries.
Confirming the incident, county police commander John Omusanga stated that the MCA was rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga where he is receiving treatment.
The police boss urged motorists to be careful on the road as the electioneering period approach with the wreckage of the vehicle being towed to Ndhiwa Police Station.
