Revealed: The NASA principal Kalonzo wanted as flag bearer before Raila was picked

, the National Super Alliance coalition  (NASA) unveiled ODM party leader Raila Odinga as their presidential candidate for the August polls, however new revelations by Wiper Party leader kalonzo Musyoka may suprise many NASA supporters.In an exclusive interview on Wednesday with Citizen Radio senior politics reporter Joseph Njane, Kalonzo revealed his preffered line up before the NASA luminaries settled on a Raila-Kalonzo ticket.
According to Njane's report Kalonzo had proposed Chama cha Mashinani party leader and Bomet governor Isaac Ruto to be NASA's flag bearer and him the running mate.

"I had persuaded my fellow principals to pick Governor Ruto as the compromise presidential candidate and I his running mate," said Kalonzo.
He, however said they had to settle for Raila because he stands a higher chance of delivering a win.
"We had to agree to to pick Raila for us to win," he added.
Isaac Ruto came in as the last entrant in the NASA team which previously boosted of having Raila Odinga(ODM), Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper), and Moses Wetangula(Ford-Kenya).
