Leaders from the Mt Kenya region have vowed to back NASA ahead of the August 8th polls.
In a statement read by their Spokesman, the leaders faulted the manner
in which the Jubilee party primaries were conducted and vowed to
redirect their energies in drumming up support for Raila Odinga
presidency in Central Kenya.
The leaders, who include Jubilee aspirants, Church leaders and
businessmen, decamped en masse to NASA and promised to sell the
opposition outfit agenda to every part of the Mt Kenya region.
While addressing the media, their spokesman accused Jubilee of favoring
certain individuals in the just concluded party nominations.
This will be a major boost to NASA in its effort to penetrate a region
that has been traditionally hostile to a Raila Odinga presidency.
