Sonko’s message to peter Kenneth after beating him in Jubilee primaries

Nairobi senator Mike Sonko has sent a strong message to Peter kenneth after...

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has told former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth that he can forward his grievances to the party if he feels the results were not free and fair.

Speaking after a resounding victory where he garnered 138,185 votes against Kenneth’s 62,504, the flamboyant senator thank his supporters for turning out in large numbers to vote.

Honorable Peter Kenneth has the right of complaining but there is a mechanism… the party structure has its own mechanism so the process is open, he can go to the tribunal and complain about that,” Sonko stated.
Before the tallying of the votes began, Kenneth rejected the results stating that there were so many anomalies in the process and called for the termination of results.

Provisional results indicated that the Nairobi senator had been leading from the tallying began which seemed to have irked the 2013 presidential aspirant.
“Cases of multiple voting in various polling stations altering the true reflection of the members,” Kenneth said.
There were cases of outright bribery by some of the candidates outside polling stations to alter the true voting outcome,” Kenneth said.
