Meet the ODM MP aspirant who is happy he lost in the ongoing party primaries
An Orange Democratic Movement (ODM)politician has shocked many with his thrilling confession just hours after losing in party primaries. Butere Member of Parliament Andrew Toboso has become the subject of an online ridicule after admitting that he was happy that he lost in the ODM party nominations.

Taboso lost to his opponent Habil Nanjendo who he accused of rigging in the party primaries.

However, the Butere MP claims he does not regret losing to his opponent because God wanted him to run as an independent candidate so that he can work with any elected president, a move could not pull as a loyal ODM member. “Maybe God wanted me to run as an independent candidate so that I can work with any elected president.” Toboso told the press moments after losing.

“I can predict that there will be many candidates who will be going it alone in this elections. Ultimately, ODM will have few elected leaders in the assemblies, both at the county and national level,” he added. The MP has since announced his resignation from ODM to seek re-election as an independent candidate
