
Drama ensued in the wee hours of
Tuesday, April 25, at the Kiambu High School when Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu
was allegedly found holed up in a meeting with returning officers and ballot
papers scattered on the table ahead of the Kiambu Jubilee party nominations.
Kiambu Governor William Kabogo said
that Waititu was busted locked in a room with the officers and was arrested by
police. The governor filed a report at the Kiambu police station. Ferdinand

. "Waititu was found holed up
in a meeting at Kiambu high school and we have filed a report with the
police," Kabogo said. However, the MP was released later on.
Kiambu is one of the most populous
and Jubilee party strongest strongholds and whoever gets the ticket is
