Gospel singer Kevin Bahati flew to Soweto slums in Kayole to drum up support for a Jubilee candidate who is eyeing Embakasi East parliamentary seat.
Politicians have now resorted to use the services of some of the most sought-after musicians in the industry in a bid to woo the electorates to vote for them.
Bahati was chauffeured in a Jubilee chopper from Wilson airport to Soweto slums in Kayole to campaign for wannabe Embakasi East MP Francis Mureithi.
The ‘Nikumbushe’ hit maker touched down at Mureithi’s campaign rally in Soweto on Sunday evening and walked to the dais where he thrilled the crowd performing his hit songs.
“Chopper Ride this Afternoon ….. #GHETTOPRESIDENT Went to Preach Peace to my Ghetto People even as We Approach this Election Period- Let nothing Kill Our Love 4 each Other #Peace #KAYOLESOWETO,” Bahati wrote on social media.
