Majority leader Aden Duale has
sensationally claimed that the opposition leader Raila Odinga is planning to
rig in the forthcoming elections.
The outspoken MP said the National
Super Alliance is planning to hack into the Independent Electoral and
Boundaries Commission (IEBC) during the August polls. Speaking at Bomas of
Kenya during the Jubilee Delegates Convention on Saturday, May 5, Duale said
NASA had no numbers and the only way they will win is by rigging.
Duale's remarks comes a day after
NASA flag-bearer Raila Odinga said the opposition will get 10 Million votes in
the August polls. Duale dismissed the remarks saying the alliance does not have
enough numbers to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
In March, 2017, IEBC claimed there
was an unsuccessful attempt by a cyber gang to hack into it's system. The gang
reportedly attempted to breach the data base to steal data and possibly alter
poll results.
