Peter Kenneth To Run With Full Powers Of Jubilee As Independent Candidate

Once again Uhuru’s party has proven what it really is. A group of selfish people who will seek every opportunity to subvert the people’s will for one of their own.
The drama in Jubilee’s Nairobi politics are revealing more insights into what many consider the most powerful political family in Kenya. But the truth? It is a bunch of desperate guys knowing an impending loss is not far away.
Sonko’s service in Jubilee and the disservice he is now receiving should be lessons to any that this is not a National party but -more of a traditional tribal outfit out to protect the interests of their own.
Sonko, if anything has been the most vocal and outspoken supporter of the Jubilee government period. he has walked places with Uhuru, shaved his head in loyalty, took on anyone that demeaned or disrespected the presidency in any way.
The spat between Uhuru and Joho might actually be accounted to Sonko. It was Sonko’s spew of words against Joho in a public function in Mombasa that first started their war.
Sonko built a great following in Nairobi for Jubilee and in that, was able to beat Kenneth at the police – not as Sonko but as a Jubilee politician. All this while, Kenneth was free running his private affairs after a staggering loss at his attempt in the presidential race.
What did Sonko get?
Firstly, at the last minute, Kenneth is introduced into a race he never had an idea he wanted in the first place. For Nairobi, Sonko, and many agree, had worked for a direct nomination for that certificate-if he only came from the right tribe.
During campaigns, we all knew Kenneth did not stand a chance, yet that did not stop the president from making speeches about impartiality in the nomination process and still beg the gods to rescue their son at the polls.
After the polls, Kenneth has flopped-first thing he does is to attempt to dirt Sonko’s win. With that, the best they’d hope for was a second vote, something they knew they can’t win. Last alternative is to have him run as an independent.
Here is why that will not work.
For one, out of allegiance to Uthamaki, Uhuru is now poised to campaign for Kenneth not Sonko.
Sonko is no less than Jaguar or the many aspiring youths who are dropped last minute in favor of someone pre-approved by their Kingmakers. This time, it will flop.
