These harmful and extremely dangerous effects on the hormonal system have been proven by the Korea Institute Research. The team has found that it is hormone disruptor with detrimental adverse effects on the production and function of other hormones (testosterone).
Since it negatively affects endocrine system, causing abnormal cellular formation, triclosan has been found to cause breast cancer.
Octyl phenol is another chemical ingredient consisted in antibacterial soaps which cause abnormal cellular growth. The combination of these dangerous ingredients leads to abnormal cell growth.
All the studies have associated triclocarban and triclosan directly to many ailments and health issues such as endocrine disruptions, bacteria and antibiotic resistance and skin irritations.
