Kenyan Music Celebrities And Top Personalities Vying For Political Seats In 2017 Elections

The August 2017 general elections has brought along vast interest from people showing interest in vying for various parliamentary seats.
Some of the popular personality vying are:

Gathoni wa Muchomba
A popular Kikuyu vernacular presenter. Gathoni a former Inooro tv employee quit her job at the peak of her career to venture into other things.
Gathoni will be vying for the Woman Representative seat in Kiambu county on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Cannibal
The Mombasa-based rapper announced his intention to vie as an MCA for Kiembeni ward in Mombasa county early last year. He will be running on an ODM ticket.
Jaguar

Musician Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar, is vying as an MP for Starehe constituency in Nairobi. He will be vying on a Jubilee ticket

Boniface Mwangi

Activist Boniface Mwangi late last year announced his intentions to vie as member of parliament for Starehe constituency.
Boniface will be battling it with Jaguar. He’s vying on a ticket from his own party, Ukweli Party.
Frasha
P-Unit member Francis Hamisi popularly known as Frasha has declared his interest of running for an MCA in Athi River.
He is vying on a CCM party ticket.
